Of course, they didn&#8217;t tell me that until after the survey was over.  However, from the tone of the questions, I figured it was a conservative organization.  With I had been able to write them down because it&#8217;s hard to explain how the wording might have affected the answers.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, they didn&#8217;t ask if I believed in vouchers.  Instead, they asked if I thought parents should get tuition tax credits so they could choose the best school for their children.  Of course, I want parents to be able to choose the best schools for their children, right?  Oh, but that tuition tax credit makes this a different question, doesn&#8217;t it?  They, of course, asked about whether I believed marriage was between a man and a woman.  I was a little surprised by the question about whether I believed a mother should be able to ask to have her unborn fetus given anaesthesia before a second- or third-trimester abortion.  What was that about?<\/p>\n<p>One other interesting thing&#8230;this was a recorded survey so there was no chance to ask questions or clarify answers.  Strictly, yes or no.  Frankly, I think  that black\/white kind of view is one of the root problems of our increasingly uncivil society.  There are gray areas but this survey did not offer any chance of that&#8230;no strongly agree or agree&#8230;just yes or no.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Family Foundation I just got surveyed by this group.
