Yet another reason that black might be angry. This story got a brief mention in the opening news review on the News Hour this evening. Yet, dealing as it does with race, I would think it would get a bigger play considering how offended everyone supposedly was about Wright’s remarks about race in America: The Supreme Court threw out the conviction of Allen Snyder, who was found guilty of assaulting his wife and her lover with a knife, killing the lover. The reason? Because they found that blacks were excluded from the jury.
I sat in the car to hear this story from National Public Radio about Trinity United Church of Christ.
